The Jammu Kashmir (J&Okay) police intensified search operations round Sidhra because of the potential of extra terrorists hiding there. The search was performed following a confrontation on December 28 through which 4 terrorists have been down by safety personnel, information company ANI reported on Saturday quoting a senior police officer.
“Now we have intensified the search operation due to the potential of terrorists hiding within the space,” GR Bhardwaj, Deputy Superintendent, Particular Operations Group, Jammu and Kashmir Police was quoted as saying by ANI.

An encounter between safety forces and two to 3 terrorists broke earlier this week on Wednesday on the Panjtirthi-Sidhra highway in Jammu, prompting additional reinforcement to be rushed to the scene. There was a grenade burst, which was adopted by a gunfight.
